New version of CB4 Tables: Component for using CodeBase in Delphi, Kylix and C++Builder
April 22, 2004 - Tiriss announced today version 1.80 of CB4 Tables, its Delphi, C++Builder and Kylix wrapper for using Sequiter's CodeBase Library as easily as the BDE. The main difference with previous versions is improved support for special Visual FoxPro fields like widestring (unicode) datetime and currency fields. Also a lot of other small improvements were made.
CB4 Tables is a set of components that can be used anywhere you want to access xBase (dBase IV, FoxPro or Clipper) tables using CodeBase in the same easy way as you are used to using the BDE.
TCB4Table (the TTable replacement of CB4 Tables) has almost all functions a TTable has, and is developed to be compatible with TTable. CB4 Tables has also some extra functionality like smart recognition of expression tags and better scrollbar support for DBGrids.
